Shipping Policies:
Our products ship via USPS Priority mail, UPS ground, DHL, and on occasion, FedEx. For all items other than USPS shipments, you will receive a tracking number when your order ships. USPS does not have tracking, but a delivery confirmation code will be provided upon request.
We do everything we can to make sure your order arrives to you on time. To assist us, please let us know when you need your order by, particularly if the date is less than 3 weeks off. While it is very rare, occasionally an item may become delayed by the delivery company. If this occurs, and you have provided us with a need by date, we will accept a full return of the item for all costs including shipping to you (customer is responsible for return shipping). We will not be held responsible for any further costs beyond those specifically stated above. Sorry, we can not guarantee timely delivery on shipments ordered less than 1 week before they are needed or if a needed by date is not provided at the time the order is placed.
Rush shipping is often available, please contact us for a quote, or place a note in the special notes box at checkout.
Shipping Costs
Shipping is charged, through our shopping cart, based on your final purchase total (see below for rates). Some of our items, such as our shirts, are light shippers. The prices on these items have been lowered to compensate for the extra shipping that will be charged by the cart. In the end, you will pay the same total for your gift (less if you order multiple items). However, a few items, specifically favors, invitations, and announcements, that are light shippers can not be adjusted as they are bought in varying quantities. If there is a significant difference ($2 or more) between the amount you are charged and what we pay for shipping, the overage will be refunded to you. You will never be asked to pay additional shipping, unless you request an upgraded form of shipping.
On occasion it may be necessary for us to ship your items in seperate boxes, if you need them shipped together, please let us know and we will do our best to accomodate you.

PreOrders:
We are happy to accept preorders on everything we sell. If you know you have a big event coming up, place your order and ask us to hold it until the date you want it shipped. For stationary items, we are happy to send you your envelopes ahead of time with your paid preorder. Just let us know.
Preorders can be made up to 6 months in advance.
Gift Messages:
We are happy to send a gift message along with your order, simply type it into the order form.
Custom Order Policy:
We take custom requests on most of our products. Contact us if you have a special request.

Privacy Policy:
At The Babbling Baby we value your privacy. All information submitted to us is kept private, and is never distributed to outside sources, except as is necessary to complete your order. Some of our products ship directly from the manufacturer, in these situations, information that is necessary to complete your order will be shared with the manufacturer. We will only share that information that is necessary to complete the order. You will not receive mail, e-mail or other forms of advertisement from The Babbling Baby unless they are specifically requested, or you enroll for our newsletter.
Return / Exchange Policy:
Standard Items:
We will be happy to accept returns and / or exchanges on any of our standard non-personalized items (excluding embroidered clothing), provided that we are notified of the intention to return the item within 30 days of purchase, and the item is returned in the same condition in which it arrived. All returns and exchanges must be received within 45 days of delivery. The cost of the merchandise will be refunded after we have received the return. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs on returned merchandise.
Personalized and Embroidered Item Return Policy:
Due to the personal nature of these products, we are not able to accept returns on these items. In some cases, we may be able to offer a partial refund on some items, please contact us by e-mail at sales.com to request information about your product.
Damaged Goods:
We will be happy to replace any products that might be damaged during shipping. Should an item arrive to you damaged, please report it immediately. We must be notified of damages to products within 72 hours of delivery for standard items, and within 48 hours of delivery for personalized, embroidered, and or food items. Notification may be provided by phone, e-mail, or through our contact us page.
Order Cancellations:
Orders on standard items may be cancelled up until the time that they ship out. Orders of personalized items may be cancelled up until printing has begun or a proof has been approved. Please note, ot all personalized orders are sent a proof.
Dropship and Wholesale Orders:
Not all items available on www.thebabblingbaby.com are available for dropship or wholesale. For information on dropshipping or wholesale orders, please use our contact us page. Watch for our new dedicated wholesale/dropship site opening soon.
