Before we tell you anything else about ourselves, we'd like to answer one of our most frequently asked questions.  Who is that baby?  That baby is my (Charlene's) son when he  was a baby.  The Babbling Baby was started just a few months after he was born, and he was 4 months old when the picture was taken.  This is what he looks like now:

About The Babbling Baby :

The Babbling Baby was started in 2004 by Charlene Hertzberg. Charlene's goal was to create an incredible website where those planning baby showers could find an incredibly unique selection of baby shower supplies and gifts. Within a year of opening, we had so many requests to do our personalized products in Baptism and Christening themes, that we soon opened a new department to handle Baptism and Christening supplies. Since that time, we have added gifts for grandparents, birthday supplies, and most recently first communion supplies.

Since we opened our virtual doors in 2004, The Babbling Baby has prided itself in providing not only unique products, but fabulous customer service. Most of our products are made to order, and almost all of them can be customized upon request. We love talking with our customers, and nothing brings a bigger grin to our faces then receiving good feedback back from them.

About Charlene Hertzberg :

Charlene Hertzberg is the owner and CEO of The Babbling Baby. She has been married for more than 10 years to her wonderful husband Erik, and is the mother of a 7 year old boy. Charlene is a proud homeschooling mom and completes most of her work from their home in Idaho. Along with homeschooling and running The Babbling Baby, Charlene is an avid reader, enjoys many forms of crafting, and enjoys learning about a wide variety of topics.

Charlene has spent more than 7 years helping people plan for their baby's big celebrations. She has helped thousands of families create fun and exciting baby showers, baptisms, christenings, birthday parties, and first communions. Charlene is available to customers for party consulting during business hours, and she and her staff enjoy helping customers figure out how to make their event incredible.

Before opening The Babbling Baby, Charlene worked as a nanny, counselor, and teacher. She has a B.A. in Liberal Studies as well as a Teaching Certificate. Charlene has more than 20 years of experience working with children and their parents. This experience has proved very valuable in helping her choose gift products that she knows both parents and children are sure to love.
